Each month, a collective Vedam chanting is organized. Participants from various parts of the world (France, Switzerland, Italy, England, Germany, Spain, Quebec, Canada, United States, Mexico, Bolivia, Gabon, India, Israel, Emirates, Peru, Argentina...) join the programme, either online or locally in groups.
The link to join the chanting is sent by email with the detailed programme. Access is available approximately 15 minutes before the start of the session. Everyone makes sure to turn off one’s microphone and video in order to facilitate a good connection. A single stream of sound guides the chanting, but all the participants are united.
The chanting programme consisting of various Vedic prayers including Sri Rudram, lasts one hour, except during special events when the chanting takes the form of an ēkādaśha rudram lasting approximately 4 hours. One clarification concerning the ēkādaśha rudram: during the first ten cycles of namaka, the last stanza of the namaka anuvāka 1 (Oṁ namastē, astu bhagavan viśhvēśhvarāya...) as well as the additional mantras to Rudra that follow the tryambakañ yajāmahē... (yō rudrō, agnau yō,...) are not chanted.
To participate in this collective Sevā and receive the link to join the programme, please feel free to contact us.
If you wish to lead a chant online, alone or as a group, you can send us a recording of a Vedic prayer of your choice from the list of files available on this website, for checking and approval of your chant. When participating for the first time, it is best to choose a short prayer. If your chanting needs some improvement, we will be happy to help you perfect it before offering its sacred vibrations to the Universe.
